The challenge
A recorded run contains more information than a poster can comfortably show. The design question was how to give the route visual priority while using selected statistics and charts to tell the rest of the story.
My work
- Explored route-led poster compositions using personal activity data.
- Selected color, typography and layout treatments for individual outputs.
- Experimented with portrait and square formats.
- Combined route graphics with pace and elevation charts where they supported the composition.
- Used the resulting posters to explore the relationship between data, place and visual memory.
Result
The exploration produced custom poster outputs from recorded activities, adding a personal, visually expressive example alongside the client and internal work.
